So from a very good source on the issue here is what I have. It looks like the true age is going to happen within the next few years. The only thing is that it will begin at the entry level. The teams that have been formed will not be affected. They will all be grandfathered in. this course will eventually phase the old system out in time. It would cause too much disruption in the entire national youth soccer arena.
