Lexus Cup 2016

Where are all the West side teams for this tournament? I would think they would all jump at the opportunity to play top ranked teams from the East side.

Not only parking, but we couldn't get a room comp for the coach of 2 teams because they were holding comp rooms for refs?? Don't get me wrong pretty cool they brought in out of town refs, but get a coach a room.

I know my boys team is going up there and we have a block of 35 rooms reserved and can't get a room compted for the coach, ridiculous:)

It has been years since we were able to get a room comped for our coach on the West side as well.

TSC has to make money some how. I think charging for parking is a joke. I don't ever remember be charged for parking as a youth. If you are playing at Indian Spring come in from the neighborhood and baseball fields and you might avoid the parking charges.

Last year, several other tournaments charged as well. I'd prefer to have $50 higher entry fee....but it's marketing to show the cheaper entry fee.
And I think TSC is doing just fine financially.

I just took a look at the OPL action for the 04's this past weekend. The only team in action was the TSC Griffin team (the 04 gold division has an odd schedule with most teams not playing until March 25th). Looking at scores they seem to be winning in a dominating fashion. With a stingy defense ( 0 goals scored on them over 3 games played) and a powerul offense (14 goals over 3 games) no wonder the West side teams don't want to come East to play.

I have to agree, the accepted teams list seems weak. Don't Texas teams usually come up? Hopefully Griffin plays up or else it will be a waste for them.

I don't believe the elite North Texas teams consider Oklahoma as good enough competition to travel for.
