I know most of the academy teams that have coaches with competitive teams are done, just thought I'd list what I'd heard.

TSCH Edwards 07g Gold placed 3rd @ PrimeTime Summer Classic (Dallas) May 2-4

Anyone know of anything else?

Where does the TSC Carreno 05 team rank?
They will probably face the toughest competition. Along with Kepley 06 boys.

I received message that Blitz 04B are playing in Dallas Premier SuperCopa in early June.

NOKC 05B Red are also playing that.

Carreno's gold team is hit or miss IMO. Sometimes they play well & sometimes they don't. TSC Gold, NOKC Red, Blitz 05, ESC Soesbee & NYSA Knehans are all about same level.

Should be some good competition for all those going to TX in next few weeks.

Carreno gold has had a few games of not being able to put the ball in the net. But given they have played 9 tournament games this year vs decent opponents and only allowed 3 goals has to make them a good challenge for most 05s. Don't know if I would classify their games as playing bad, just not scoring. Hey, they are still 9, who knows how they may play.

Looks like the ntx tourney has drawn some decent teams and should make for good competition.

Definitely agree with you about their defense. Didn't think I implied they were playing bad; if you read it that way I apologize.

5 tournaments in OK w/ total of 11 ga is quite impressive.

The problem w/ OK teams going to TX is how the scoring in tournaments works. Teams are rewarded for scoring (up to 3 tourney points, vs only 1 point if you have a shutout).

New to Oklahoma. Why doesnt Oklahoma have any tournament in May?

Most of soccer focus in on state cup, presidents cup & high school post-season.

Very few academy coaches that aren't involved in 1 or more of these for competitive & high school kids.

hoping to see Oklahoma soccer, before i place my kids in a club.

I am not an expert on OK 05s, but I agree that the TSC 05 team will see the toughest competition on this list. Although the rumor down here is a few of the top 05 teams will be playing on the boys side of the bracket. Still the Memorial Day tournaments should be pretty salty.

D'Feeters Black, Solar, and the 2 06 teams will give them plenty of competition.

How is TSC doing in Memphis? Are the 04s the only group there?

Was looking at http://www.premiersupercopa.com/brackets/ today & noticed several OK teams registered..

OFC 02, OFC 03, Blitz TSCH 04, NOKC 05...

What interested me most was seeing the 04 team name.

Which of these four teams do you think goes the farthest?

I'm taking OFC 02. The 04 team may play more games (bronze champs last yr), but I think that this 02 team is Tulsa tested, ,as you like to say.

NOKC red 05 should have a good showing.

I have seen all of these teams play several times and I would put my money on NOKC 05 causing the most noise. They will be a tough out for anyone they play when dialed in although a pretty tough draw for them it appears for pool play.

Does anyone one know if TSC and Blitz are combining for this tournament? A combination of Melos Blitz 04 and Crouch's top players would be an interesting team to watch. That being said talk about a tough draw! The Solar 04 red team is as good of a youth soccer team as I have seen (very skilled everywhere, play as a team and tough as nails).

On a side note suppossedly the order they were placed in the brackets was an attempt to seed so looks like OFC 02 (3 Seed), OFC 03 (4 Seed), Blitz TSC 04 (4 Seed) and NOKC 05 (3 Seed). Not much respect for our OK teams...hopefully they all can make some noise!!!
