I hope OSA is playing with schedule and it's not final. First we waste money for hotels, now you expect some of us to take off and miss work to get to a Friday night game at 630? Schedule can't be final or they meant the 30th and not 29th. I sure hope they're not expecting the 29th

Agree with Tarheel! They are making it hard on all east teams in the 04 girls brackets.. Is it OSA or OFC that is doing it?? Hopefully someone's term Is up soon and some individuals can step in that are not biased or know how to schedule correctly and fair to all..

I don't know when his term is up, but Tom Wedding is responsible for the scheduling and all of the other aspects of this tournament. He needs to be gone after this fiasco. Hell, I think we could pick up some of the guys holding "Will Work for Food" signs and they'd do a much better job than the current lot at OSA.

I have held various leadership positions with the military, my current job and my local soccer club.. As we all know soccer clubs are made up of mostly volunteers that put in many hours to ensure that our children have best possible experience with this game we love so much! Being in these leadership positions I always led by example and placed others ahead of myself and my self interest.. I hope that whoever was or is behind of all this steps up and does what's right and what's best for the game but most importantly all of our kiddos! Ok I will be quiet now.. Good luck to all!

OFC should be pooping their pants now because their plan backfired. Now they have to play TSC Kitterman when they are fresh not after they have played two games and been up since the early morning. If you couldn't see the bias toward OFC in this tournament then you must be blind. It will be interesting to see whatelse OFC tries to pull to get to the finals.

Pretty sure right now it is the Kitterman clan that is the most nervous, they have the most to lose.. OFC is the proverbial underdog and if they win they are in the finals and the Kitterman mystic is shattered as they most likely watch two other teams play in the finals.

I believe for ofc to make finals they will have to beat Kittermen then blitz beat winter's then slsc beat blitz, am I correct?

I don't think you are correct.

OFC does have to beat Kitterman to get in. Kitterman is in with a win or tie.
If OFC wins and Winters wins they both would be in finals.
If OFC wins and Blitz wins out then OFC and Blitz in finals.
If Kitterman wins or ties and Winters wins then both are in finals.
If Kitterman wins or ties and Blitz wins out the both in finals.
There is also a way were there could be a three way tie for 1st (Blitz, OFC and Kitterman) with 7 points then I believe goal differential will be tie breaker.

At least I think this is right. It will be cleared up some after tonight's game.

Three way tie would be if OFC wins and Blitz has a win and a tie. 3-way first tiebreaker is most wins, which under this scenario all would still be tied at 2. Next would be goal differential (max GD per game of 4), and Kitterman would almost certainly be in at that point (plus 6 GD now). Blitz's win would have to be 3 goals better than OFC's win to prevail on GD (they are currently -1 and OFC is +1). Next is goals against, which is currently in Blitz's favor 3 to 4. Most goals for after that (4 per game max), OFC has 5 Blitz has 2. PKs after that.

Agree tonight's game will narrow down the scenarios, the winner is either in or in the driver's seat.

Sort of silly on the part of BASC. Zero percent chance of rain until later tonight and the fields can't be worse than what they played on in Edmond.

The reason given for closing the majority of the fields was that there was standing water. Probably nothing like the conditions at Edmond, but that was what was relayed. In total, 8 State games were postponed.
