2004 Girls Homestretch
A few games left that can make a huge impact on 1st through 5th:
1. Winters 8-0-3
2. OFC 7-1-2
3. Blitz 7-0-4
4. SLSC 6-1-3
5. Kitterman 5-2-0
Remaining Schedules (against each other):
Kitterman – Winters, OFC, SLSC
Winters – Kitterman, OFC
OFC – Kitterman, Winters
SLSC – Blitz, Kitterman
Blitz – SLSC
Interested to see if anyone puts a real blemish on Kitterman? I'd put my money on OFC if I had to make a wager today.
Can OFC, Blitz, or Winters hit the 10 win mark?
Will these rankings hold outside of Kitterman moving to first and bumping everyone down one or will their be additional shuffling?
Should be an interesting final few weeks...and yes I am bored at work today.

Re: 2004 Girls Homestretch
Hard to tell how it will all shuffle out. Blitz still has a Kitterman game left, too. I agree that the odds favor Kitterman finishing out in first, as their is still 7 games left on their schedule and they've only had 1 goal scored on them so far. Among the others, I would put my money on OFC to finish 2nd, just due to the number of games left to play (4) as opposed to Blitz (3) and Winters (3). SLSC also in the running with 4 left, but going would have to say a little less likely to win over Blitz than lose to them, so advantage Blitz to finish 3rd or 4th. Should be fun to see it play out.

Re: 2004 Girls Homestretch
Here is how I think it will play out:
1. Kitterman 12-2-0
2. OFC 10-1-3
3/4. Blitz and Winters 9-0-5
5. SLSC 8-1-5
This is pretty much how most people ranked the teams early on and appears it will play out that way. Although might not be as much separation as some expected.
State cup will be a good one.

Re: 2004 Girls Homestretch
If postponed that is a load of crap. Per OFC parent Kitterman showed up claim sick kids. Suppose to be a forfeit. If that is true should have been a forfeit or they could have player passed. If they get a break the OSA is a complete farce. We played winters and OFC on back to back days with 2 kids out with injuries and 2 kids sick. 3 starters missing total and 1 kid playing with a low grade fever on Sunday. We were ready to player pass if need be. You think we wouldn't like to play those two games with 3 of our better players on the field and with a roster more than 12 kids?
Again, IF TRUE, then Kitterman should have done what everyone else has to. Player pass. Take the loss if you are missing good players. You carry 13 on your roster you should be prepared for these type of issues. The rules are not the same for everyone if they get to postpone this. And that is crap IMO

The other side says (per a Kitterman parent):
[the] game was postponed by OFC last week & submitted to OSA. When OFC heard Kitterman was down players they tried to "un-postpone".
I personally have no dog in this fight, but it sure livens up the board.

Score posted as 3-0 win for OFC, assume it is officially a forfeit. It will be interesting to see if it stands.

No dog in this fight, but IMO if it is up to OSA and it involves OFC, OFC will get the benefit of whatever doubt there may be. Surprising that the normally batsh*t crazy Kitterman parents aren't going, well, batsh*t crazy on this board.

Re: 2004 Girls Homestretch
If the game between OFC and Kitterman was postponed it should have shown up. No dog in this fight but if there is a scheduled game and everyone shows but other team then....forfeit. it is a simple concept. 10 year old soccer board is funny to watch. Less controversy in world cup.
