Hard to argue with those picks. I do not even take a good 05 team beating an 04 OPL team as a huge upset.

That's pretty weak competition if you have an 05 predicted to win the 04 group and a rec team making noise in semifinals.

Sparky likes to stir things up. Top teams from younger brackets are normally competitive playing a year up.

Sparky is right though. It's not a very competitive grouping. There is 1 mid-table OPL team (WSA Red), maybe 1 OPL 11v11 team (I don't know if this is the same Arsenal team or not), and the rest are mid to lower level OCL teams. A good 05 team should do quite well in this division.

I was wondering if you got to play the finals. I give the edge to Blitz, but not by much. WSA picking a champion by tie breakers or ???

Not sure yet. They're tied in points with no HTH. Blitz has a 1 GD advantage and 2 more goals scored so they'd get the tiebreaker there.

Was looking forward to championship game. The team MTSC brought looked to be far better than a mid level OCL team. But they may have added a very good player to their roster for tournament.

I had heard they were going to let us reschedule the champ game but haven't heard any dates or times yet.

You heard right t-town. Including the very good guest player on that team, there were 3 former '04 Kitterman players on that team. They looked like a pretty good team. Although I saw WSA gave them more than their moneys worth in the semi's. The score was 0-0 at half time and was close till the end. I still put my $$$ on the '05 Blitz team if a finals is played.

Those girls have been gone for a year from kitterman and 2 have been with this mtsc team since they left. So wasn't all new additions for them. I'm glad they picked up the extra player. They got to have fun in competitive event and would have made for good game with 05s. Although I am hearing some rumblings that they may be avoiding the reschedule with the 05s. May be happy as cochamps. cheers
