2015-16 Preseason rankings for 05's

It will be interesting to see where everyone thinks the rankings fall after tryouts...
But a monster 05 girls team is brewing at TSC. One that may be on the respected level of 03 Amos and 04 Kitterman. This includes four players that just played up in the U11 State Cup championship (2-Kitterman, 2-Winters), along with a few other surprises.
If your 05 has game... tryouts / combines are all this week.
My early predictions are...
1. TSC 05 Carreno Gold
2. NYSA 05
3. Blitz 05
4. OFC 05
5. South Lakes?

I may need to amend that...
TSC's second team should be pretty strong also. Maybe somewhere around #4 or #5.

Tarheels- so your saying the the four 05s that were playing up are coming back to play with 05s next year?Have the four girls played with the 05s this year?

Two were already on TSC 05 Carreno Gold (they guest played for Kitterman).

The pickup of the Slater Blitz girls won't hurt matters either.

The 5 strong players added will definitely have an impact as they are joining an already technically sound group. They will be fun to watch after some time together and will definitely be a challenge to anyone in their age group.

Curious who's playing 8v8 and who's playing 11v11? Wonder how many '05 teams actually play each other this year with it possiby being a divided age group. Looks like u11 only has a spring season from what I hear, anyone else hear that? So I guess you fill up your fall schedule with tournaments and friendlies?

Only first team playing 8v8 is SLSC. 05s who elect to play 11s will play u-12 in the OCL.

My understanding is everyone will be considered OCL for fall with an East and West Division. Based on those results, Spring OPL Gold and Silver divisions will be formed.
From what I am hearing only TSC and OFC will play up in U12 11v11. Everyone else is electing to stay 8v8. Anyone know of any other 05s playing 11v11?

So is it worth playing 11x11 for a year then either having to play up to continue to play 11x11 while others are still playing the 9x9 format once its finalized?

Well I have a feeling we are going to true age next year. So these 05s that are birth year 04s need to play 11s this year are they will be farther behind.

sooner5, what makes you think that they will change to true age next year? What would be the point of changing that after all of these years? Seems like it would just scramble all of the teams up.

I agree with yoyokix this would make a mess of things with true age. Heck they are still trying to figure things out with the changes to the 9x9 format vs the 11x11 format.
