Spring OPL Empty Spring OPL

Post by t-town05 Tue Nov 10, 2015 8:54 pm

I am assuming spring OPL gold will be the 5 division winners?:

Sheffield Black
TSC Pemberton
Blitz
NYSA
OFC White

Anybody hear or think anything different?

TSC Melton may be getting the short end of this. I think they are most likely way better than TSC Pemberton. Also think South Lakes Blue would be good fit in gold as well. Maybe they expand it past 5 teams for the spring.

Hoping for one more west side team. Let NYSA Pride and SLSC Blue have a play in game for the spot.

so this is what OSA stated - So Melton, NEOFC, Bixby Shelfield White, NSYA Pride and SLSC Blue would be in Silver based on second place teams
U11 GIRLS
OPL Gold – 5 division champions
OPL Silver – 5 second place teams, top 4 PPG among second place teams.

OCL PROMOTION DETAILS – Fall 2015 and 2015-16 Extended Season (U15-U18)
Published 8/28/2015 2:00 PM
PPG = Points Per Game. Definition: The total number of league points (win = 3, draw=1, loss=0) accrued
in a season divided by the number of games scheduled. (Example: 5 wins (15), 3 draws (3), 2 losses (0)
=18 points divided by 10 games = 1.8 PPG)
PPG will only be used to determine the higher finisher among teams in different brackets that were
originally scheduled a different number of games. “Originally Scheduled Matches” will be the total
number of games, assigned and unassigned, as of 5:00 PM EST, August 28, 2015.
Unplayed matches (excluding those in which a forfeit has been duly awarded by the league) will be
recorded as 0 (zero) points for both teams and will be counted in the divisor used to determine PPG.
