Small Club Empty Small Club

Post by travelingsoccerdad Thu May 26, 2016 5:07 pm

What are the better small clubs in the Tulsa area, thinking about dipping our feet into the competitive area.

We have an offer from Sheffield but I wanted to get some honest opinions about the other smaller clubs in the area.

WSA but not sure if WSA can still be classified as a small club.

NEOFC, WSA, and Sheffield are what I would consider the smaller clubs in the Tulsa area.

Can you explain?

I guess what I am getting at is I would like more information to make at least a somewhat educated choice.

I would say that WSA and NEOFC are comparable and Sheffield and Nationals are comparable... Then Blitz is a step up then TSC is a big step up. I would go with convenience to start... Which side of town do you live on? Is your kid a standout on the their rec team?

South Broken Arrow/Bixby area. My kid is a pretty good athlete, decent soccer player, wouldn't really say a standout.

Don't forget Highlanders... I think they still have some teams in some age groups

Honestly given where you live I would check out TSCH and Blitz and see if they have a group and coach that fits your daughter. If not then look to other clubs.

She was U12, but with the age change she will play as a U14 I believe. December 21,2003 is her birthday.

Yes that is correct... If you are interested in trying out for TSC this is your contact and they have tryouts next week.. Tina.banham@gmail.com There will be varying levels of teams if you want to start out on a lower level and see how it goes for a year and then decide if moving up is right for you.
