05 age group being added to ECNL!

Beginning next season, ECNL is lowering the first year age group to U13 (2005 birthyear). Announcement coming soon! This represents a great opportunity for female soccer players in Oklahoma to begin ECNL's advanced 3 day training curriculum one year early and play against the best teams in the country on a regular basis. As the only national league available to 05 players, this ECNL age group will be comprised of the very best female players and teams in the region.

Anyone interested in trying out for the 05 ECNL team can visit the link below for important dates. It is important to point out that this team represents all of Oklahoma and tryouts are free and open to all players from all clubs. There is no commitment or obligation for attending the ECNL Player ID events so come to as many as you want. If nothing else, come get free training from ECNL coaches.

I don't have all of the details about the 05 ECNL team yet but this is what I know. The team will have 16 players. The 05 age group will be full ECNL, not JR ECNL, and will attend all ECNL events except the national championship. There won't be one for this age. There will be no politics during the tryout process, the only goal will be to select the best players and create the strongest ECNL team possible. If your daughter plays for a top 05 team and thrives on competition and is serious about playing at this level, I might make one suggestion - send the top 05 coach, Richard Beattie, an email with your daughters information (team, position, ocomplishments, etc) and let him know of your interest in participating in the Player ID sessions.
