Well since Cosmos04 is a Southlake 04 parent. And he must be referring to 04 group at Norman. They had many different coaches in academy. But with
Don coaching the first team this year in 8v8, he will get them turned around. They have improved so much in a few months.

Well hopefully u guys start playing 11v11 really soon because if u wait to long I'm afraid you'll be to far behind to catch up with the top teir 04 teams. You guys could always bring your top three players to slsc:)

The 04 first team is the only group that didn't play 11s in the fall of u11. From what I was told they already are playing at southlakes.

Predictions for this weekend
Arsenal-Blitz, Blitz 3-0
Winters-OFC, OFC 2-1 but virtually a toss up.
Blitz Navy-Clinton, Blitz Navy 8-1
Clinton-Kittermen, Kitterman 15-0 but again name your score for Kitterman
Blitz-OFC, OFC 2-1 but virtually a toss up
Winters-SLSC, Winters 1-0
Navy-Arsenal, Arsenal 4-1

Winters-OFC, Blitz-OFC and Winters-SLSC could obviously go either way. Only thing that would suprise me if any of these games was more than a 2 goal difference.

Sounds about right, soccerschmuck! I think there may be a few ties in there this weekend, but like you say, those match-ups are pretty even. And here I said I was getting out of the prediction business! Wink

So does anyone put in any credence as to the difficulties of 10 year olds this age to drive for 2 hours and get out of the car and play? Seems another aspect of soccer these kids are having to learn.

I think a six hour car ride would be exhausting for them but two hours is like sitting through a movie. Seems like 2 hours to get them pumped up. Give them a soda and handle business.
