You hear right newbie. Was a good game. Very even. Blitz is a good team. Will be some fun future games for sure.

Definitely not. Kepley's new players are bigger, stronger and faster than last year. Looks like they could finish fourth.

Maybe with TSC Bettie 05 in 3rd since it appeared it was a very even game judging from previous TSC comment and game score. That is quite a shake up after this weekeend in the rankings.

Top 3-4 teams are all competitive. Anyone could win any game. Remember Love that these are all new teams so early predictions are about as useful as you know whats on a bull. Beattie team has much respect for the Blitz team. You can try and make it out otherwise but you would be wrong.

Glad to hear. I agree there are 4 really good teams and that predictions are only that, predictions. But it is fun to point out when they are so not on target. I think is only good for the sport and for our girls to have several competitive teams in the State. Win or lose on the field is a win/win situation for the development of all 05 players.

Great! I was actually refering to the previous comments on this thread such as:
"I do not believe 05 Blitz will do better than fifth based on their loosing record against the other four and which players they are losing. Kepley's players are good 06's but not on the same level as the best 05 as seen in their recent games against 05 Melton. Carreno, Fury and OFC are on a different level and developing much faster"

we had a draw on the road vs. blitz. were up 4-2, relaxed and blitz took advantage in the last few min of the game to get the draw. their parents and players were excited to draw, ours were visibly upset. blitz is a solid squad. wish we had home and homes with teams. i don't know about your 11 year olds, but we play way different when we have to drive an hour and half early on a sat, then we do at home. not to whine, but refs are also different at different places. so what are the plans in the spring? are a certain number of teams going to be gold, and others silver? will we do home and homes in the spring?

Playing away from home is always difficult especially when you play right after arriving. The kids are not in the right mentality most of the time but that is what these games are for to make them understand the importance of away games. League play travel is tough but tourney challenges are worse. Get Strong!

Yes. I have been ready to move on since this thread was started Mar 06, 2016. There is nothing like fueling your opponents desire by not giving them enough credit on social media. Lovefutbol, what happened against Clinton 05?
Final shows Blitz05 3 - 0 Clinton05, results were a little underwhelming. Not being sarcastic, just wondering about the game score.

If you see a 3-0 score where there is a seemingly mismatch, very good chance that game was not played. No idea on this Blitz/Clinton game, but OSA rules say the score is recorded as 3-0 regardless if there is a forfeit.
Also the rules state the forfeiting team is subject to lose their $500 performance bond and goes into bad standing on league placement the following season.

That had to be a forfeit. Or Blitz took the foot off the gas and worked on passing and other things instead of scoring.

Very close! I think most would have thought TSC would have 2 teams in the top 5. Interesting that OFC will get 2 of the top 5 in when all is said and done. Odd that you picked Celtic over OFC after OFC won State Cup last year. I still want Beatie in OKC with our full team early on a Sat morning! lol Maybe one day it will happen...

Spring will be fun for sure! What happens if Beattie doesn't play with us and does their own thing? Will we pick up the 6th team to make a 5 team group or will it stay at 4?

Because OFC was losing more players than Celtic I thought they might finish higher, but I underestimated OFC's depth in the age group. OFC will finish with 2 teams in the top 5 but it easily could have been 3.

Even if Beattie doesn't play OPL in the Spring, I believe this season qualifies us for the State Cup so we will be back for that. I'm more curious how OSA is going to fix this age group and how many teams they are going to allow to play up next season. The better teams who don't move up are going to be miserable.

Question for other clubs, when you guys practice do you practice with other teams or is it just your team? How often do you scrimmage teams within your club. We always practice with White which is why the coaches coach both teams. It emphasizes development over winning. Just one of the many things I love about our coaches...
