Oklahoma Tournaments
My daughter's 04 team is thinking of traveling to a tournament or two this fall and spring and we were wondering what are the best tournaments to maybe try and play in. We are a PPL D1 team.

Re: Oklahoma Tournaments
The best two in OKC have either already happened and are happening this weekend: Beat the Heat and Cosmos Cup
Other than that I know many think highly of the Lexus Cup which is held in Tulsa around early April.
I would say those are generally the 3 I hear about the most. Here is a complete list:

Some others could probably give you insight into some of these other tourneys. I know Norman's November tourney has attracted some Dallas teams before.

Tulsa--Blitz fall tournament 10/23-10/25. This tournament will draw large amount of teams and played on very nice fields in Tulsa. Should have at least 2 divisions for 04s

Norman, OK--11/13-11/15. Not a big fan of the fields at this park. But possibly decent draw of teams. And weather is a toss up at that time of year.

Tulsa--4/8-4/10. Will be largest tournament in Oklahoma. 425+ teams last year. Played at 3 complexes on mostly nice fields

Tulsa--4/22-4/24. Will have decent draw of teams from outside of Tulsa area.

Re: Oklahoma Tournaments
As far as this year goes, the best tournament left is the Blitz Fall Invitational. It normally has a good mix of teams.
In the spring, the two best tournaments will be Blitz's Spring Classic and TSC's Lexus Cup. Lexus Cup is by far the biggest tournament and they do a very good job with it as well. If you're looking at Lexus Cup get your hotel booked early. Some teams had to stay way out cause all of the rooms in town were booked.

Re: Oklahoma Tournaments
Lots of rain today for Southlakes. Interesting to see I they handle it differently than Norman if they have to cancel. Do they give 50% refund or just credit towards future events. Norman lost customers on how They handled their by offering credit only.. It will be interesting to see.

Re: Oklahoma Tournaments
Why hasn't southlakes ever finished out the brackets for their tournament? Even the ones that did finish they took off the finals, even the ones with scores. I don't understand. Give the winners the the soccer points they earned. Finish out your brackets. You have winners in most if not all the divisions.
