No I didnt. But the result doesn't surprise me. Fury have their 04s that are playing up with the 03s playing with them this weekend. And Rother is a pretty good coach.

Sounds like it is shaping up to be a really good tournament. Kansas team very good, very physical, and is a combined 03/04 team. Wouldn't be surprised to see them in the final. I predict OFC going to consolation round based on what I've seen. It will, in any case, be a very physical game and should be pretty good to watch.....The Kansas goalie comes off the line at inappropriate times, hint, hint... Wink

Good prediction of OFC to consolations.

To be clear, all the teams in this bracket are 03/04. In OK, we only # team by year of younger players. All girls are born August 2003 or later.

I've now heard that...however, have heard from a parent that he had talked with one of the parents from the Kansas team in the past and heard that their daughter was in 6th grade. What you say is certainly true, but odd story, nonetheless. Will consider myself now educated, unless proven otherwise! Laughing

Yes if they are August 03 they can be a sixth grader and still considered a 04.

Heard Kansas team is by far the best team intourny, talked to A few parents who have watched, said 13 is a fantastic player. Also heard that there's some home cooking going on, apparently the refs screwed ofc out of kittermen game, ref had a niece playing for kittermen, any truth to that?

How has Norman looked? Looks like they might be able to provide another solid group A team in the spring. Impressed that they hung with Winters.

OFC needs to slow up on the excuses or they will be out of them by spring...... lol!

No. OFC did their normal rough play and had a ref who called 'em on it...same as in your game with 'em, I believe. Also, record would say otherwise in tournament, so far....

In fact, that ref was way more lenient than the one in the KC game.

Kansas team is a really good team. To say they are best team by far is a stretch...... Norman will be a good addition to our age group. Physical team and has some skill. Will need to keep getting some 11v11 play though. Girls seem to have gotten gassed pretty quick.

Kansas team went to overtime then P.S to determine semifinal game. Keeping in mind, blitz played with 1 sub to Kansas 6-7 Subs. They are a really good team though, especially #13.
