Chirp chirp chirp. There's been a lot of negative comments in the bleachers at Soccercity the past month. My kid played before his group last night, parents were less than impressed with his "smug behavior", as well as his coaching, or lack there of!

When umelos left, many players were willing to stay IF RM wasn't their coach. His ego sent them packing, now history is repeating its self. 01'S. I hope I'm wrong, but he's been coaching that team a month and the parents are already unhappy.

I'm not saying all parents, just the groups around us last night, last 2 week's also. Not a good sign before they play their 1st outdoor game???

Lack of communication with most parents except for the "insiders", and players playing because of who they are, or who they're related to. Talk to some parents in the 01 group, they'll tell you all about RM, and this is the same way that started.

I have only been around RM for 6 months. I don't get your claims of his lack of coaching. If these boys aren't getting better on the field, I find it hard to believe its because of RM's lack of coaching. From what I have seen, I haven't seen any of these accusations made against him.

The top 01 team left blitz and went to NEOFC because of RM. The top 04 team came to TSC because of RM. What used to be the top 04 girls team at blitz is a shell of its old team because of RM. Good luck???

Again, all I know is what I have seen in last 6 months and for me, RM coaches harder and with more passion than a lot I have seen. The development from our group has been great and as of now I wouldn't want mine anywhere else.

I also don't think your comment of his 04 girls being a shell of its old team is valid. What team hasn't lost or added a couple players? I believe for the most part his 04 girls have done nothing but improve.

You sure seem to have a lot of info for someone who just happened to be sitting near some of their parents one game (or 3 weeks in a row, crazy you have the same schedule of right before their game each week!)... and if it's not your team not sure why you'd care so much to come here and vent…

Interesting that you say it's his lack of communication that's the problem and yet here you are bashing him on an anonymous board. If you or any of the '04 boys parents have concerns they should talk to the coach, coaches are not mind readers.

RM is a coach that wants to WIN, he's not going to play anyone because of who they are, he plays the players that are going to get the job done.

Fortunately my kid is to old and wrong sex to have to deal with RM. Having said that. He is the best recruiting tool TSC has going!

Wow! That seems a little cowardly to come on a forum and talk about a coach by name when your hiding behind a username especially when you supposedly have know involvement with this coach. Usually people who do this do have issues about there kids and the coach for some reason or another and you mentioned communication this is not the best way to communicate with your coach. Me personally have heard good things about him with his girls and boys teams.

Why don't they have a team in the 11 v 11 group? They have 3 teams in the 8 v 8 group(2nd tier league).

04 boys left Blitz to follow Umelo. RM did his best to keep them around. RM is good coach and an excellent trainer. In my opinion, he's got too much on his plate to be fully devoted to coaching. In order to compete at a regional level all the best players from the Tulsa area need to be on one team. Whatever club that is.

I have a daughter on the 04 Mitchell team and I have to say I disagree with everything he is being accused of. The 04 girls have gotten better in the last two years. Even with the loss of 2 girls to Kitterman. Robbie is a great trainer and coach. U have no clue by saying the 04 girls are a shell of what they were. I'm thinking you have a personal grudge with him. Not cool to put it on an open thread. Very cowardly!
